DJI O4 Air Unit – Lightweight 4K FPV Digital Video Transmission System

Overview

The DJI O4 Air Unit is an advanced digital FPV transmission system designed for drone racing, freestyle flying, cinematic FPV, and compact UAV applications. Featuring DJI’s latest O4 transmission technology, the system delivers ultra-low latency video transmission, crystal-clear HD live feed, and stunning 4K video recording in an ultra-lightweight form factor.

Weighing only 8.2 grams, the DJI O4 Air Unit is specifically engineered for lightweight drone builds, including 2-inch and smaller FPV frames. With a powerful 1/2-inch CMOS sensor, built-in storage, and support for DJI’s latest FPV ecosystem, pilots can enjoy professional-quality footage and reliable control without additional recording equipment.

Key Features

Ultra-Low Latency Digital FPV Transmission

Powered by DJI O4 technology, the Air Unit delivers smooth and responsive video transmission with latency as low as 20ms in Racing Mode. The system provides reliable connectivity and clear visuals even during high-speed flights.

Long-Range HD Video Transmission

Enjoy stable digital FPV performance with transmission distances of up to 10 km (FCC). Automatic frequency selection helps maintain strong signal quality and minimizes interference.

Built-In 4K Recording

Capture high-quality aerial footage directly from the onboard camera with support for 4K Ultra HD video recording at up to 60fps. No external action camera is required for everyday cinematic flying.

Lightweight FPV System

The compact design makes the DJI O4 Air Unit an ideal choice for micro drones, racing drones, cinewhoops, and lightweight freestyle builds where weight savings are critical.

High Frame Rate Live View

Experience smooth real-time visuals with support for 1080p live transmission at up to 100fps, providing better situational awareness and flight precision.

Internal Storage Included

Store flight footage directly on the device with 23GB of built-in storage, eliminating the need for external memory cards.

Advanced Image Stabilization

RockSteady 3.0+ stabilization technology reduces unwanted camera shake and helps create smoother aerial footage. Pilots can also use Gyroflow for post-production stabilization.
